Salt in our wounds

I like how you have just above the wrist for the crop on that part but it really bothers me that the fingers are cut off. The heart shaped cut is good and nicely done i like the little blood on the knuckles above the middle fingers. I think it would have been better with the blood running down the pinkie more so it made it look longer. The salt bothers me because it looks like feta almost, i know thats weird but it looks a little to white i guess and not much like salt to me. i guess its not translucent enough for me. I think that if you had made the hands a bit dirtier looking it would have added another level of depth to it, or had dirt under the nails. But I think the picture over all was very well done I love the lighting and how it was positioned and the idea is not something I have seen thousands of times. I have seen blood and gore a lot but not like this exactly so i think you did very well. This is the first critique have done on the new critique thing so i hope you like it.
